I love the work I do.
The opportunity of supporting individuals as they create change in their lives is a profound and rewarding experience for me.

When we make the choice to do therapeutic work, it is a significant step in creating change. This offers people the opportunity to heal and move more fully into  the human being they choose to be.

Therapeutic work encourages us to be present, compassionate, and open to new experiences. We may also find new-found energy and momentum to create change, make decisions, and feel more hopeful about current and future life.

I am a gentle, supportive, heartfelt, and engaged therapist. I work from a stance of compassion with the understanding that through compassion for self and others we have the capacity to create change in our lives.

I am a Master's-level Canadian Certified Counsellor (#1163). I have years of experience working with clients as a therapist at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton.

I have the first year of Hakomi training and five of six modules of Somatic Experiencing training. Both modalities offer the opportunity of discharging energy held in our bodies from traumatic events that occurred at any point in a person’s life.  We can have trauma stored in our bodies and not realize it and subsequently not notice the day-to-day impact trauma has on us.  The release of trauma from our bodies offers a more authentic opportunity to live with greater ease and intentionality.

I look forward to working with individuals who are seeking change. Specifically, I am enthusiastic about journeying with you as an experienced guide, a gentle challenger, and a pillar of support, so that you can discover in yourself renewed hope, fresh dreams, and deeper connections.

In my personal time I love spending time with family and friends.  I also enjoy reading, walking, traveling and being curious about almost everything.
